- Restock bathrooms as needed.
Gatekeeper
Hourly pay: $15.50
Job Requirements
- 14 years of age or older
- Prefer applicants with Red Cross Lifesaving, Red Cross Babysitting, or similar certifications
Duties
- Check members and their guests into Cabana Club
- Responsible for cash boxes and selling ice cream
- Keep bathrooms stocked and clean, and keep pool deck areas clean
- Deal fairly with members and their guests, enforce Cabana Club rules and policies
- Attend training and staff meetings
Lifeguard
Hourly pay: $16-19.50
Job Requirements
- 15 years of age (Junior Lifeguard) OR 16 years of age or older (Lifeguard)
- Current Red Cross Lifeguard certification or equivalent
Duties
- Perform lifeguard duties at the Cabana Club
- Attend training and staff meetings
- Work with other staff to keep the pool area clean and safe
- Deal fairly with members and their guests, enforce Cabana Club rules and policies
Water Safety Aide (WSA)
Hourly pay: $15.50
Job Requirements
- 14 years of age or older
- Previous experience working with children
Duties
- Aid lesson instructor in and out of water during lessons
- Escort students to the appropriate area of the pool and take roll
- Escort students back to parent/guardian at the end of the lesson
- Have equipment/toys ready for classes and properly store them at the end of the day
- Assist in any paperwork needed for students
- Attend training and staff meetings
Water Safety Instructor (WSI)
Hourly pay: $16-19.50
Job Requirements
- 16 years of age or older
- Current Red Cross WSI certification or equivalent
- Experience working with children
Duties
- Develop lesson plans for swim classes
- Teach swim lessons according to age/ability levels
- Maintain accurate records as related to swim classes
- Attend training and staff meetings at the pool
